Recruitment in the lunchroom

The army, coastguard and marines are trying to get students to sign up during lunch. Their hope is to engage students in conversations about the cool things they bring to the school like a Humvee or a pull-up bar for example. If they were to talk to students in flex, they couldn’t bring these different things in and students would just ignore them and go on there phone. A student that has seen the military set up in the lunchroom said he was fine with that. Another student that had been interested in joining had said that he had not heard back from them. Stg. Garlick, one of the visiting officers explained that the United States government will pay for college for those that sign up, which they hope will be a nice incentive for individuals to serve their country.
