The Ridgeline Theater department performed their latest musical music man and they had showtimes all of this past weekend on the 9th 10th and 12th with the showing times at 7 pm. Saturday was an exception, they had two showings one at 2 pm and one at 7pm. You could buy tickets online or they were $6 dollars at the door for students and $8 for general admission. They also had concessions for the people that attended.
This year, the Thursday showing was an unprecedented student’s night. Any Ridgeline student could get into the musical for free with their student ID card.
The theater department had posters put up around the school and showed what the theme was about.
The film was originally made June 19th, 1962 and directed by Morton Dacosta and the musical was about this traveling singing salesman. According to Brietta “the kid playing the salesmen had a really good voice.” When asked the director of the musical said, “these students have worked very hard to be able to perform for this and I couldn’t be more proud.”
