The Hispanic Heritage Celebration is on September 27th at 6pm. Maria Hunsaker, the host of the celebration, said the event is open to all students, but it’s mostly targeting Spanish speaking students and parents since this is a Hispanic Heritage Month. Maria also added the administration is hosting and sponsoring the celebration, but Maria Hunsaker was in charge and in command with additional students who offered to help. The event will be hosted in the commons at Ridgeline, which is the main social gathering place at the school. The event will be from 6 to 7:30. Maria Hunsaker said the celebration will have a large dinner that the student council diversity representatives are serving. There will also be a hispanic guest speaker that is talking about being a 1st generation student. There will be games and an information booth, and to top it all off there will be a raffle for prizes.
