$41 million winning Texas Lottery ticket sold at North Texas 7-Eleven

A lucky Texan is going to discover that their most recent gas station pit visit resulted in a large sum of money. The Texas Lottery reported that a winning jackpot ticket was sold in North Texas this week; now all that remains is for the winner to come forward and claim their cash.

A $41 million Lotto Texas lottery ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven in Mesquite, east of Dallas, on Monday, April 20, according to a news release from the Texas Lottery. The ticket matched all six numbers (21-28-33-34-43-44) and is expected to pay out $22.5 million before taxes because the buyer selected the cash value option.

The jackpot was claimed after 66 drawings, bringing the Lotto Texas prize from $5 million on November 17, 2025, to $41 million on Monday, according to the statement. The 7-Eleven location at 3700 Interstate Highway 30, Mesquite, TX 75150, is eligible for the Texas Lottery’s Retail Bonus Program, which offers a $25,000 prize. “Monday was an unforgettable night for one Lotto Texas player who purchased a jackpot-winning ticket,” Courtney Arbour, executive director of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which regulates the Texas Lottery, stated in the announcement.

“If you feel you are the winning ticket holder, please sign your ticket, keep it secure, seek financial and legal counsel, and contact the Texas Lottery to set up an appointment to claim your prize. Players can be confident that such wins are supported by secure, well-managed games. We are excited to meet and congratulate our latest Lotto Texas jackpot winner.”

The next Lotto Texas drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, with a $5 million jackpot.

Meanwhile, another Lotto Texas player, who purchased a winning ticket worth $78 million, is poised to lose everything if they do not claim their prize by May 14.
