Go Forth, Be Bold

Kat Bowie, Helping people be cooler

Dear Reader,

High school is the fastest four years of your life. It is the launching pad for the rest of your life. It can seem like it will never end, but before you know it, it’s gone in a flash. So take it from me, there’s a lot you’ll want to know going forward.

My first tip is to go forth boldly. If you want to join a club or try out for a show or go out for a team or even try a class that is outside of your comfort zone, just do it. If you focus too much on what other people think or if you keep telling yourself that you’re going to wait until next year, you’re going to run out of “next years” faster than you realize. High school is the perfect opportunity to try new things and explore who you really are. You don’t want to look back as you near the end of your senior year and be filled with regret, wishing there was some way you could go back and do the things you talked yourself out of. Even if you end up hating it, then at least you did something new instead of being boring.

Go forth and be bold kiddos,
