Why we dream is still one of the behavioral sciences’ greatest unanswered questions. Researchers have offered many theories along the lines of memory consolidation, regulating emotion, threat simulation, but whatever type of dream you have during the night could be a symbol of something in your life. Many people dream similar dreams such as flying or falling, or dreaming of work or school. No science has had the ability to confirm that all dreams mean something specific but, many neurologists theorize these dreams and abstract worlds, are our brains trying to work out emotions and problems while analyzing the day you just had. A neurologist is person who studies the human nervous system. They study dreams by studying the anatomy’s function during the test subjects REM sleep.  They probably do no study why you dreamed you were in school yesterday, but they do study the brain while it is dreaming. 

Dreams can be interpreted a million and one ways and you can analyse your dreams yourself if you keep a dream journal by your bedside so that when you wake up you can write it down before you forget. And you will forget.  Now, the meaning behind your dreams can be different depending on what website you look at. Some of these dream meanings are taken from the website How to Lucid.   3. Teeth falling out in your dream could mean you’re feeling subconsciously repressed or controlled. It can also mean you really want to leave a  job but you feel like you cant.
  4. Death in a dream can mean you seek a new beginning. It can also be a product of stress and anxiety due to work or school and you should take a break or start a hobby.
  5. Buildings and houses can symbolize your brain and how you think. Each building or room can represent a memory or aspect of your personality.
  6. Falling dreams can mean you are thinking about letting go of something you have been holding onto for a long while. It can also represent something in your life that you have been trying to do and continuously failing, and you need to let it go.
  7. Meeting a famous person in a dream can mean you are just excited about them and like them as a person. These dreams can happen because of what you look at and what you do during your day. It can also mean you are looking forward to something.
  8. Flying is a common dream symbol that means you are happy and motivated. It can also mean that you will soon be making big decision and things will go well. 
  9. Black and White dreams, if you’re dreaming and your dream is in black and white it can mean you feel lost in life and need clarity.
  10. Zombie Apocalypse dreams can mean you are feeling trapped and you need to find some kind of release for your stress.
  11. Dreaming of a wedding can mean you want to be able to make a decision about something and fear the consequence.
  12. Chasing or being chased in your dream can mean you are anxious about a problem you don’t want to address.
  13. Fire dreams can represent the passion you feel about something in your life.
  14. Red balloon, a balloon in your dream can represent a hope that you have, red typically means you hope for romance.
